Interview with Sight For All Fellow Dr Aye Moe Htet

Dr Aye Moe Htet, our Fellow from Myanmar, has almost completed her year of corneal training in Adelaide, Australia. As a young girl growing up in a small village in Northern Myanmar, Aye Moe knew she wanted to become an ophthalmologist, having seen first hand the effects of blindness on her sister and family.

This video shares her inspiring journey, the sacrifices she has made, and the impact her Sight for All training will have upon her return to Myanmar.

DONATE NOW to fund more training opportunities and break the cycle of avoidable blindness in developing countries.

Dr Aye Moe Htet and her predecessors return home following their fellowships to train their own fellows. Collectively, we are changing the lives of tens of thousands of children and adults each year using this sustainable education model which is unique to Sight for All.

Your donation to Sight for All this Christmas will help save sight, save lives and alleviate poverty in some of the poorest countries in the world.

Most cases of blindness are preventable or treatable. Sight For All are very passionate about turning this around. We hope you are too.
